About Me

Hello, my name is Darcy!

I'm Darcy Goshorn, a teaching & learning designer. I've worked in that turbulent intersection between, teaching, learning and technology for 12 years.

After starting my career as a high school language arts and journalism teacher in 2004, I shared my passion for learning and teaching with primary, secondary & college educators from Pennsylvania to Florida, and even in frozen Oslo, Norway.

I have experience designing online learning at both public and private higher education institutions in the Tampa Bay region.

I am currently the Senior Faculty Development & Enrichment Specialist at Saint Leo University, where I also teach in the Department of Education.

I enjoy hiking, writing dangerous yet accessible HTML & attempting to play the ukulele.

You're invited to join me on my quest to rid the world of bad learning, by thoughtfully designing and applying instructional methods, technology & data!
